Today, I did something that I have never done before in my whole entire life. I made cookies (twelve dozen, to be exact) for a work event, and I did not do any of the following: * lick the spoon* lick the spatula* lick the beaters* lick my fingers* eat batterNot once! At all! I then sat down and ate two of the more awesome looking ones as my reward. It was super hard, but I am very proud of myself. Usually when I bake cookies, I probably eat the equivalent of at least half a dozen in batter (if not more, given how big the batch of this kind is) while I am making them. Hurrah!

How has everyone been doing on the daily challenges?Sorry that this challenge is a little late in coming. I'll keep it a simple one. Overall health includes mental well-being as well, so here's the two part challenge:#1. Make it a point to disconnect for at least 30 minutes today and do something that you genuinely enjoy away from all of that. This means no TV, no computer, no phone. What you do outside of that is up to you. It could be anything from exercise, to reading, to writing letters to people you've been meaning to write to. It could mean taking a nap. Maybe cleaning (if you enjoy that). Whatever it is, look at this as your alone time to recharge.#2. Get 8 hours of sleep tonight. This will help prepare you for a week of work (or school) and start you off on the right foot for Monday! Good luck!Report back here and let us know how you did!
